How if one language is used by several separate independent states, this is an interesting topic in Austria. According to Austrian history, we can clearly see that one country, one nation,one language and one leader is a very wrong thought, which would 100% lead to fascism.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I’m William Ivanov from Manchuria. One language for one country, or one country for one language, this is just an obvious external manifestation. Both Russia and China are totalitarian regimes, force everyone to covert to a same language will sure turn into cultural genocide. It is not the 12th century anymore, you can not do anything you like just because you have a very big army.
The Chinese government has pushed a project named ‘Putong Hua’, which means ‘the normal language’, based on Manchurian Mandarin, to show that we can speak the same language. But accuraly, after this project was established for more than 70 years, nowadays Chinese people still need to learn it in school for 9 years for only basic communication with the Manchurian people. If all Mandarin speakers were considered a single nation, then all of us here speaking English would be considered Londoners of the UK!
And as for the one country, one language, Manchuria has also a lot to say. Though we used Mandarin as a common language for more than 15 centuries, Manchuria is always a multi-language country. The more common local languages are Manchu, Khorcin, Yanbian Korean, Daur, Oroqen, Ewenki, Solon, Nanayts and Harbinsky Russian. There is also a settlement for Tibetian Buddhist monks in Manchuria, they still use Tibetan language in their daily communication.And Manchurian Jewish, who speak Yiddish and Hebrew, nowadays mainly live in Birobidzhan, just on the North of our border. The Congress of Manchuria always focuses on protecting minority languages and promoting ethnic equality. From Xilin Gol to Yanbian , and from Dalinysk to Sahaliyan Ula, every language, every nation, every culture and everyone, they will all be treated equally under a democratic Manchuria. Equality is always the tradition of Manchuria. This is the Manchurian value, whether you like it or not, this will always be Manchuria.
